Our client, a growing digital marketing organization in Chicago, is seeking an experienced SEO Manager to develop and execute organic search strategies across a diverse portfolio of clients.
This is a highly hands-on SEO position . The ideal candidate isn't someone who simply researches opportunities, manages vendors, or reviews reports—they know how to personally execute SEO campaigns from strategy through implementation.
You'll work across on-page SEO, local SEO, technical SEO, content strategy, keyword research, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO platforms such as SEMrush and Ahrefs to improve organic visibility, rankings, traffic, and leads.
Candidates with previous digital marketing or SEO agency experience are strongly preferred.
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting into the weeds of SEO.
You should be comfortable moving between strategy and execution—conducting keyword research one day, optimizing pages the next, diagnosing an indexing problem in Google Search Console, reviewing local search performance, and then using the data to determine what needs to happen next.
This is an excellent opportunity for an SEO Manager, Senior SEO Specialist, SEO Strategist, or Technical SEO Specialist who wants ownership over campaigns and the ability to directly influence client results.
